Bible study about fundraising

Here’s a six-part online Bible study on the Principles of Fundraising from Marc Pitman.

I recommend you look at this, even if you have no interest whatsoever in Bible study, and even if you and/or your organization are not part of any faith community.

This is the world many, many of your donors live in. Most donors to most organizations are active religious participants and take seriously their scriptures. It might open your eyes to the thinking of people who are very important to you.

  3. Thanks so much Jeff! Great point on why people should read it!
FWIW: YouVersion gave it the name. I wanted a more modest “Thoughts on Fundraising” 🙂

  5. You raise a great point that many nonprofits can overlook when they talk to their supporters. That most donors and supporters of nonprofit and charitable organizations are active religious participants is a a no-brainer, when you think about it. We can only imagine the number of nonprofit organizations that overlook this fact… This is just another reason to make sure that nonprofits know their donors, and know them well. A thorough knowledge of their supporter’s demographics can lead to a more efficient and wide-spread fundraising campaign. http://bit.ly/i6GtcV
