What you need to fix right now in your fundraising program

Here’s a little fundraising diagnostic from the Oneicity blog: 5 signs your fundraising is in trouble:

  1. You mail all your donors in every impact.
  2. You aren’t connecting your online giving with your offline strategies.
  3. You don’t make it really, really easy for your donors to give online.
  4. Your donor acquisition strategies look different than your cultivation strategies.
  5. You’re not wrestling with ROI.

Let me emphasize #2: When your website is disjointed with your offline fundraising, you are hurting your results. The time for separate silos for online and offline fundraising is over.

  1. Just recently, in connection with my cause, we held a garage sale. I am really missing #3 and I don’t know if it is safe if I will provide my bank account details. I have donors requesting me to post such details because they don’t have a paypal or CC.
    Please help me with this.
