Getting the small stuff right is how you make a difference. One place a lot of online fundraisers miss the small stuff on is their online forms. Here’s some help from The Emma Blog, at 3 must-dos for creating an online form:
Optimize your form for mobile devices.
Don’t get too personal. (Don’t ask for more information than you absolutely need.)
Make sure your content aligns with the form. (When the form doesn’t seem to match its purpose, people flee!)
The future of fundraising is not about social media, online video, or SEM. It’s not about any technology, medium, or technique. It’s about donors. If you need to raise funds from donors, you need to study them, respect them, and build everything you do around them. And the future? It’s already here. More.
