It’s been a year, and here’s why that matters to you

I’m breaking one of my own rules: I’m going to talk about an anniversary that’s about me. Not you. You have no reason to care about my anniversary, which makes it a poor topic for me to bring up.

Please forgive the lapse. And I’m going to do my best to make it matter for you…

Almost exactly a year ago, I did something a little bit crazy.

I quit my job. A job I thoroughly enjoyed.

And joined Moceanic.

A start-up.

Based in Australia. (Where, disconcertingly, it’s always tomorrow.)

With a couple of merry adventurers with a wild itch to change the world.

What was I thinking?

Well, I was thinking about changing the world too. I wanted to do more than do fundraising. I wanted to help every other fundraiser in the world do their own great fundraising.

Which is crazy talk, right?

Maybe. But I don’t think so. And here’s why:

We actually are changing the world. Not with quite the blinding speed my imagination had predicted. But it’s happening.

One way it’s happening for a number of very cool organizations around the world. I could tell you a lot of stories about them, but I’ll just throw one out there:

ADRA — Adventist Development and Relief Agency. They are the humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. ADRA is the real thing. (Seriously, consider looking them up and making a donation. I’ve noticed that the organizations that are smart about fundraising are also smart about other things. Your donation will really have an impact!)

We do a lot of work with this excellent organization, and they’ve made powerful change happen. Here’s what Matthew Siliga, the VP of Marketing and Development at ADRA, has to say:

In our first campaign where we adopted learnings from Moceanic, we were able to increase our return by 65%.

In 2017 we increased our median gift across all our DM campaigns to $47 from $35 in 2016. Before that we had been slowly slipping backwards. Moceanic directly helped us turn that around.

Okay, that’s pretty cool. I’m happy and proud to be part of it. But there’s something I can do to help you, too (and stay with me here, because it’s about to get very awesome for you, specifically):

You see, when I realized I’d been at Moceanic a full year, I went to Sean and said, “Sean, mate,” (I’m learning to talk that way), “Is there something we can do to celebrate my Moceanic anniversary?”

“Dude,” Sean said (or he might have said if he were really trying to learn to speak American), “let’s offer a huge discount on our online courses!”

So that’s the deal. Huge discounts. For you.

How huge?

25% off each course, regardless of how many you buy!

If you enroll by Friday, April 27. And use the promo code CELEBRATE25.

We have six Moceanic courses ready for you to take right now at this discount:

Three by me:

  • Irresistible Communications for Great Nonprofits. The basic and proven ways to connect with donors — many of them are not what you (or more likely, your boss) think!
  • 7 Steps to Creating Record-Smashing Direct Mail. A hands-on walk-through of what it takes to make the wild world of direct mail your fundraising oyster.
  • Your Blueprint for Donor-Focused, High-Revenue Fundraising Storytelling. The story that will draw your donors in and make them excited to give — what it is, and how to tell it.

Two by Sean Triner:

  • Supporter Connection Survey: The Most Powerful Communication Tool. The donor-centric communication tool you’ve never heard of — how to do it, and watch your revenue skyrocket.
  • The Mid-Value Donor Super Course. The fastest and easiest way to find those near-the-top donors who are hiding in plain sight … get them more deeply engaged with your cause.

One by Harvey McKinnon (“the most inspiring person in the world”):

  • How to Raise Millions AND Change the World. How to turn activism and that restless urge to change the world into the donations you need to fund it all.

The normal price for these is $397 or more (that’s US dollars). So 25% off is a deep discount. The kind that should get you thinking about taking at least one of the courses!

Each course consists of four (or more) video modules of about 60-90 minutes each.

Packed to the top with practical material that will help you change your fundraising game.

They also have tons of bonus materials to help you when you need them. Worksheets, cheat-sheets, case studies, and videos featuring all kinds of fundraising gurus … people you’ve been learning from for years.

Find out more here. (Remember to use the promo code CELEBRATE25 at checkout to get 25% off your course)

And if you have any hesitation, know this: Every Moceanic course has a 100% Money Back Guarantee.

If it isn’t worth both your time and your money, we don’t want you paying for it. (Not even at 25% off!)

It’s been a doozy of a year. So, I hope you’ll celebrate with me by taking at least one of our online courses and use promo code CELEBRATE25 to get your 25% discount today.

When I tell you these courses will make a difference for you, you don’t have to believe me. But listen to Alena Plavsic of the Aid Foundation, Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. She’s done it and raves:

My world has changed since I started my training with Moceanic. The sessions are so jam-packed with amazing value.

They’ve given such great advice (even to the point of how to word the exact sentence) on how to talk to skeptics about direct-mail…

I thought I was doing pretty well after taking a few courses and reading books, but after training with Jeff everything changed. And when I put my refreshed and much grown knowledge into practice… The result was the best appeal I’ve ever written which raised around $100K in a month from an audience of 9K people.

Here’s where to find out more about the discounted online course that can do that for you!
