Just maintenance, but important

Notice anything different?

Has something changed?

Yes and no.

If you read Future Fundraising Now by email, you are seeing (or soon will see) a new look.

I’ve switched my feed service, which is boring, back-end stuff, but necessary and important. It’s a big deal in my world, not so much for you.

(TL;DR: I was with Feedburner since the beginning, a service provided by Google that is soon to be shut down. I’ve switched to follow.it. If you are a blogger facing this same situation, I recommend it. The process has not broken my brain.)

You now have some new subscription options not available before, but nothing else will change. As they say in the commercial world: new look, same great taste.

Let me know if you encounter anything weird. I’m pretty sure you won’t.

Thanks for reading!

With feedburner the entire post came to my email. With follow.it, I got some of it, without paragraph breaks, and a “read more” link. Not cool for my phone where I have only email and no browser (more productive!).

  3. I agree: Not cool! Not what I want. I’m working on making this work the way it should. Please be patient!

Hi Jeff! The Follow It email looked suspicious so I came here to confirm. It may be helpful to add a screenshot of what your readers will receive from Follow It. Thanks for all your wisdom and encouragment.

Ditto. Certainly not an upgrade or improved reader experience in this respect.

  9. Hello! Same here, looked like some spam or full of ads.
When clicked read more, then it brought me to this page, the simple one that you used to send.

What this blog is about

The future of fundraising is not about social media, online video, or SEM. It’s not about any technology, medium, or technique. It’s about donors. If you need to raise funds from donors, you need to study them, respect them, and build everything you do around them. And the future? It’s already here. More.
