From the Direct Creative Group Blog, here are some things that will make your fundraising stronger, no matter what channel you’re in: “Channel-Agnostic Messaging” in Fundraising. Every channel has its own rules and conventions, but at the high level, all fundraising is pretty much the same, and it should do these things:
- Cast the donor as a hero.
- Articulate the need, relevant to the donor’s heroic role.
- ASK for support.
- Prove that the donor’s support will make a difference.
It’s not the complicated, is it? If you do these things, you’ll stand out gloriously. And raise more money.
